New workroom pictures...again

I am not sure what has gone into me lately…Either it is the snow outside that makes me only think white, or a burst of energy that has struck me. I wanted the room to be white and airy. A canvas for all my stuff. So I have been painting almost everything I could find. The desk, the drawer, the counter, mirror and some small boxes too. Now I am wondering if I should paint the chandelier white also…?

I have another room with my dollhouses. I will show you that one later. I think I have managed to put up enough pictures here for now. This is where I sit and make my minis and talk to you.

workrooms 012

My antique house, and another house that will have a French flair. Oh a lot to do with both!wr16

My drawer that holds my clay and some inspirational things on top. Light and cheerful, dont you think?wr5

Buttons and glitter always come in handy. Maybe not for miniatures but for other craft projects.

wr18

Some miniature chairs, flowers and French candle sticks. wr19

I am very fond of old boxes. My husband found these in our garage with nails in them as he was doing a clean up. Luckily he asked me if I wanted them before he trew them away!!. Of course I did. Can you see the old matches. I was thrilled!!…Sometimes I am easy to please;)

wr17

Some more nick nacks I have around. The beautiful card was bought in Florence some years ago. It was a beautiful city by the way.

wr20wr22

The frame has chicken  wire for displaying some inpsirational things, memories and cards. wr6wr4

More boxes and storage. I don’t think I will ever get enough;)

 wr10

My Laduree paper decor  decorated with some scrap  roses.  Under glass of course.

wr12

This is the side of the room with least interest. I have a lot of storage here. Fabrics, packing materials, miniatures, and lots of papers.

wr13

This is also a relatively new found. It used to belong in our basement so I didn't have to go far to find it;) I love the industrial look to it. It has also great storage possibilities.

Now hopefully it will be some time before you see more pictures from this room, but as promised I will soon show some taken from the dollhouse room. Have a nice weekend everybody:)

OOOOOOHH I wish I had such a big and lovely place to work on my minuatures in. It's amazing, love the colour, although, I wouldnt paint the chandelier white, i would paint it in the same light green you have on that small piece of furniture at the background, on the right. It would look perfect

Thank you. What a lovely bunch of people you all are:)
Though I have to say that I really make a lot of mess when working. Just isn't so fun to take pictures of it;)
Lol my daughter counted the drawers in here, and she came to 133!! Some of them are empty by the way.

Oh, my! This is lovely! And it insures that I will NEVER show pix of my lowly, plain, unfinished basement where I work but it suits my personality which is much like a plain Jane old shoe! LOL! Every detail here is exquisite.

Dear Cristel,
A big clean up is invigorating - not only clears the space but the mind. Leave the chandelier black as every white room needs black!
Thanks for sharing your light-filled space. I can imagine many mini workshops being painted and reorganized as I write.

Oh Christel,
Thank you for visiting my silly little blog! I am not a miniature artist like you, but I so love this world. Your work is so magnificent and I just saw your crêpes on the previous post! I am a full-time teacher who barely cranks out blog entries on the weekends. I draw and play the harp as well. So glad to have run into your wonderful space here.

Have a fabulous Sunday! Anita
