Laduree cupcakes

I have been sneaking away....making cupcakes:) I couldn't resist trying to make Laduree cupcakes in 1/12 scale. It was a challenge but I do like that. Here are two cupcakes I replicated from the real ones I bough when visiting Paris. There are a couple more flavors that I am working on as well..cherry, pistachio and rose, raspberries:) The ones I made are lemon and chocolate, orange.

Better get outside and do some work on the garden. What do you think...Should I put some on Etsy..make more?

Here is what I have been up to the last couple of days. Decorating  those tables is time consuming but also a lot of fun I think. The books I have got from Mercedes and they makes the scene so fun. I made the little cabinet too. If you would like to make your own cupcakes I have a DVD for sale that shows you how to do it. I love glitter

I love many things and one of those things is glitter. I love glitter on makeup, on ornaments and just about everything. I also get very exited walking outside in the evening when there is snow or frost on the ground. Everything looks so perfectly glittered. For my love of "bling" and glitter I hereby serve up some rose cupcakes on glittered letters. Nothing wrong with that..or what?..Do you love "bling" and glitter?

Cupcake wrappers

Just in case you want to "pimp" your cupcakes;) Here are some cupcake wrappers that could be used for mini cupcakes. Just make them in the size you would prefer. I havent tried it but will some day.
I thought these were pretty cute.

Cupcakes

The weekend is almost over but no reason to stop celebrating with cupcakes! This time they are adorned with roses. I like to believe that the roses are supposed to be real and that is why they are so large, or in this imagine world they could also be marzipan. It is after all polymer clay and non edible anyway;)

DVD sneak preview

Hi:) Been busy lately. Finally spring has arrived to Norway and it feels so good:) I am currently working on a DVD on how to make miniature cupcakes:)) There will be molds included both for the base and icing:)I will let you know on the blog when it is ready for sale. More cupcakes anyone:) Strawberry buttercream, lemon icing and chocolate with a marzipan rose. I would have trouble choosing;)

More cupcakes, with roses this time. Overflowing with buttercream frosting. It's the best part I think. Very sweet in more than one way;)

Almost Valentines day and wanted to show you some miniature
cupcakes made for 1/12 scale dolls. Looks like they have started the party already;)

I have been baking muffins with raisins;) This must be a great treat for breakfast. I often make muffins in large life too. I usually make banana crumb muffins as my husband loves them. They are very similar looking to these. Soft on the inside with a bit of crunch on the top. Lol:)

Just one more cupcake:)With a rose and some gold glitter for the holiday season. It defiantly would cheer me up.

Chocolate cupcakes on a cake stand. Vanilla buttercream on top with fondant flowers. Festive, fun and oh so sweet;)

I made these cupcakes for a customer. Coconut with lime and really sweet buttercream pastel colored cupcakes. Vanilla based cakes in case anyone wondered;) These should cure your sweet tooth for some time..or what?

I have made some vintage style cake stands for my cupcakes. Made with clay, wire and some paints:)
