I have inherited an old wall clock from my grandmother. It has been in my hallway for several years. I had an idea to decorate the inside and I used some furnitures that were a bit out of scale for my dollhouses, so I put it in here. Maybe a clever mouse lives here, and just maybe he likes to fix old clocks, do a bit of gardening and read some books…just maybe;)
It’s a very subtle decor and you almost have to know about it before you see it. Part of the fun I think. Do you have a wall clock you can decorate?
Miniature artist Christel Jensen from Norway. I make food, flowers and other small items in 1/12 scale. I use polymer clay to make the little art objects. I also like to reconstruct furnitures and make small interior designs in a trendy vintage style. My art is sold at fairs and on Etsy.

What a lovely idea Christel. I like it a lot. I don't have a clock I can decorate but this seems a good enough reason to get one!
I´ts a great idea, Christel, I like the comparison between 1:1 and 1:12, that your eye and brain is forced to make here..every time you move your head a little bit, you have to make adjustments to adapt..

1:12 clock looks great in 1:1 one! I don't have an old clock but I have just adapted a small latern for 1:12 purpose;)

Its lovely Christel,I am always on the look out for things like this,they make such great miniature settings.I have made an old clock maker in a mantel clock case but would love to have a wall clock like this one, you've made is so subtle too,its a lovely surprise to peek inside !
