Saturday fair shopping

Spring has defiantly arrived here where I live. A sure sign is also all the fairs on the weekends. I went to one close by my home today and found these cute little statues. They are Swedish made and have a crown and sign N under. So of course I had to make a little scene to display them. A cake and also a tiny cupcake makes it very sweet I think. The lovely books are made by my dear friend Synnøve. They are so nice and I treasure them very much.

Tomorrow I will have a random drawing on my giveaway. It is not to late to join if you haven't already. Have a nice Saturday and I will stay outside doing some cleaning on my garden furniture's. They need it after a long winter.

Aren't they cute! What a great find.
My mother had something similar when I was growing up. I remember wondering how they made porcelain tulle?

These are wonderful little statues, I also remember these (but larger) when I was a child, I bet you must have been thrilled with your find.

Looking forward to your give-away draw tomorrow, you will make some-one very happy!

Enjoy your Spring.

Fondest Regards, Linda x

They are lovely! Are they vintage? Are their skirts meant to be torn? I love them this way. Beautiful pieces, Christel. So are the books and the cakes. :) A very pretty scene.

It is figurines, not statues of course..silly me;)
I love the odd look to them and they are of course a bit large as figurines in a dollhouse, but I still like them in a display like this. Catherine don't you think they just dipped the tulle in porcelain mix? It's just a guess..I don't know:)
The skirts are not ment to be torn, but have been over the years. I like them like this:)Thanks:)
