Ratatouille

This is my my room box inspired from the movie Ratatouille. It has be great fun working with this project. Hope you see the glimpse of Paris by night from the windows. Now I need a very big glass dome to put on top of it. I will also make the garbage boy Linguini. As you probably see, the little rat Remy is sitting on top of the pot. He has just fixed the soup to perfection:)

Hi. So nice to hear from you:) I wanted it to look like there is a hole in the wall just for the "viewers"..lol us to see inside the kitchen. The two light fixture in the ceiling were made from the metal you put inside a wooden candle stick. Using two different size, glue them together and a brass rod cut to length. Spray painted silver.

One of our favourite movies. You have done a wonderful job in creating that mood. I showed the pictures to my young son and he loved it too, especially Remy on the side of that soup pan of course ;-)

Wow, Christel this is amazing work! It's perfect in every detail. Your Paris nighttime view is just wonderful.

I am thinking of a glass cake dome or cloche, but don't know how very big they sell them?

I love that film too. Cooking and France, what's not to love? :O)

Helt aldeles nydeligt.
